The guys over at Ready Steady Play were kind enough to look at Wreck and Ruin after visiting the stand at UKGE. They talk about the components, give a quick rules overview and give their thoughts on the game.
I had the pleasure of speaking to Richard from we’re not wizards about my gaming past, and the bright future that is Wreck and Ruin! Be sure to give it a listen, and also follow them as they’re pretty cool!
The journey through the Wastes is difficult and fraught with difficulty, but what better way to deal with it than talk with friends? On 22nd Jan 2017 I will be guesting on their podcast at the cottage compound. We’ll be talking about gaming, where wreck and ruin began and the journey it has taken me. I’ll post up a link once it’s live!
After a hectic day of playing games at GGF, I finally decided it was time to show just how that went: the answer is both good AND bad. Good, because everybody enjoyed it and wanted to play more; bad because everyone always decided that as the creator I had an advantage so I was always ganged up on and did not win any of the 8 games played! Have a look at them, nobody came away without scars.
UKGE, Britain’s largest celebration of all games, has allowed me to exhibit. I will be there to guide many souls through the hazards of the Wastes. Will friendships remain intact when the dust settles? I hope so, this post-apocalyptic world needs as many warriors as it can muster.
UKGE runs from 2-4/6/17 at Birmingham NEC
Glasgow Games festival is on the horizon, the wasteland warriors will be at hand to guide anyone brave enough through the hazards of the Wastes. Come and say hi!
